Shuttle service/taxi/car rental

The hotels we have contracted with offer free shuttle service to and from the Duluth International Airport. If you are flying into the Duluth Airport, there are car rental companies at the airport. A taxi will cost about $25-$30 from the airport. If you have any problems or questions making transportation arrangements, please contact me and I can help sort out a plan.

UBER/LYFT

Duluth is proud to now offer these two services. Download the app today and get rides conveniently at your feet in minutes through your phone.

Light snacks in the morning and a full lunch is included with your conference registration for each day. If you have specific concerns, please contact Lori at lyoung@firstwitness.org

Conference Location
Harbor Side Convention Center at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC).
Parking
For those staying at the Holiday Inn, there is an indoor skywalk from the Holiday Inn to the Harbor Side Ballroom at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center and is accessible so you can avoid paying for parking by taking the skywalk. If you do drive, parking is $5.00 a day with in and out privileges. We are not able to validate parking.

Walking to the Conference:

The conference is about a 15-20-minute walk inside our newly updated skywalk system. The front desk of the Holiday Inn will give you directions on how to get to the DECC and we will have signs to the conference room once you arrive. If it’s super nice out, you can walk outside but it’s a little longer.

Coffee Shops!

Yes, this is important enough to have in your registration confirmation page! There are five coffee shops on your way to the DECC – depending on if you are walking or driving – check these options out:

The Greenery

Located near your hotel so you have convenience.

Starbucks (located on Superior Street)

We aren’t Seattle but we have their coffee!

Bakehouse (located on Superior Street)

We dare you to leave with just a cup of coffee…delicious treats!

Caribou Coffee (located in Canal Park)

Even if the MN company sold years ago, we still call it our own!

Amazing Grace (located in Canal Park)

One of the original coffee shops in Duluth…still going strong but you might have a little wait.

WI-FI

There will be wi-fi available and free to access at the conference. The code will be given in the conference program.
