The conference begins at 8:45AM and ends at 4:30PM on both Monday and Tuesday. After the daily keynote, there will be three breakouts a day with four sessions to choose from. Details to arrive closer to the conference.
Registration/Check – in
Registration and check in will begin at 8AM. There will be signs posted so look for those to direct you to the registration table.
Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable but they are fully transferable to any other attendee.
Consider sending someone in your place – there is no cost to do this even at the last minute.
Shuttle service/taxi/car rental
The hotels we have contracted with offer free shuttle service to and from the Duluth International Airport. If you are flying into the Duluth Airport, there are car rental companies at the airport. A taxi will cost about $25-$30 from the airport. If you have any problems or questions making transportation arrangements, please contact me and I can help sort out a plan.

Book by June 23 for the conference rate. We have a block of rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn & Suites Downtown Duluth. It is located a few blocks from the conference and can be accessed through the skywalk system (the skywalk system is accessible). Follow this link to make reservations. Holiday Inn
Light snacks in the morning and a full lunch is included with your conference registration for each day. Lunch will be catered by the DECC and features a menu that will accommodate vegetarians, gluten free and lactose free individuals. Harbor Side Convention Center at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC).
For those staying at the Holiday Inn, there is an indoor skywalk from the Holiday Inn to the Harbor Side Ballroom at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center and is accessible so you can avoid paying for parking by taking the skywalk. If you do drive, parking is $5.00 a day with in and out privileges. We are not able to validate parking.
Walking to the Conference:
The conference is about a 15-20-minute walk inside our newly updated skywalk system. The front desk of the Holiday Inn will give you directions on how to get to the DECC and we will have signs to the conference room once you arrive. If it’s super nice out, you can walk outside but it’s a little longer.

There will be wi-fi available and free to access at the conference. The code will be given in the conference program.

We have a room set aside for nursing mothers at the conference. Details will be available at the registration desk for a quiet and private room.
Continuing education is available for most disciplines. Certificates of completion will be available for the sessions you attend. Depending on your discipline, we will provide you with the information necessary for you to obtain credits. Information on how to keep track of your sessions will be available during the registration process. Your certificate will be delivered to you electronically after the conference.
