While we know that false reporting of sexual abuse of exceedingly rare, such reports do occur.  We will outline what is known about false reporting. Using case examples, this session will highlight the need for ongoing collaborative team work by and MDT when it is believed that a disclosure of sexual abuse is considered false.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will identify ways to consider child safety in situations of questionable reports.

Participants will understand the utility of careful collaboration among MDT members.
