Senior Maltreatment Investigator for The Minnesota Department of Education, Division of Compliance and Assistance, Student Maltreatment Program
Adam Heuett is a licensed attorney in the State of Minnesota and has been working as a Maltreatment Investigator for the Minnesota Department of Education for over three years. Adam received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon and his Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, MN. He has a strong passion for working with ethnically and socioeconomically diverse populations. He has exhibited this passion through his work with Minnesota’s Somali, Hmong, Karen, and tribal peoples, and through his volunteer work with the Indian Child Welfare Act Law Center in Minneapolis. He has also served Minnesota’s elder population through his work at the University of St. Thomas’ Elder Law Clinic, as well as at a small, private firm in Ramsey, MN. Adam lives in St. Paul, MN with his three-year-old son, Jake.
