St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services
Kelly Lind graduated in 1996 from College of St. Scholastica with BA in Nursing and shortly after, started her work with families as a Public Health Nurse. She worked 15 years with new parents in Rural Northeast St. Louis County. Kelly was a Nurse Family Partnership home visitor for the last several years, where she worked as a Public Health Nurse, and attended the University of Minnesota Infant and Early Childhood Child Welfare Cohort in 2015. Through these experiences, she witnessed an evolution of practice surrounding infant and early childhood mental health science that developed her passion to help those she served.
Since 2014, she has administered Maternal Child Health Programs in Northern St. Louis County where she has worked hard to bring research to practice with the staff and programs she oversees, and as an advocate to bring change in the systems she works with. Kelly was co-founder of the Northern St. Louis County Early Childhood Mental Health Initiative and is ecstatic to see that the vision of the group is taking hold in powerful ways!
