Kia Moua is a Child Welfare Foundations trainer for the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Kia has 20 years of experience working in youth development, service-learning, diversity, inclusion and equity work as a facilitator and organizational consultant. Kia has experience in working in nonprofits, businesses and public government agencies.
Kia facilitates racial equity conversations that push participants to use their power to advance social justice. Kia coaches individuals and organizations through anti-racism initiatives that result in lasting interpersonal and community changes. Kia is certified as an Anti-Racism Study Dialogue Facilitator, Intercultural Development Inventory Qualified Administrator, Diamond Inclusive Assessment Facilitator/Cofounder, ADL World of Difference Facilitator and Cofounder of “The Box.”
Kia is a published writer, life-long learner, and active community member. Kia has her Masters of Human Development.
